La inteligencia artificial (IA) es una herramienta prometedora para el diagnóstico presente y futuro de las enfermedades. Algunas de las ventajas son la integración de la información, la automatización de actividades repetitivas, la identificación de errores de prescripción y de efectos adversos a fármacos, el aumento de la autonomía de los pacientes para el tratamiento de las molestias frecuentes y de bajo riesgo de complicaciones.
