Las emociones son mecanismos que permiten a las personas adaptarse a las situaciones, comunicarse y relacionarse con otras personas. Las que tienen una serie de características. La regulación emocional permite influir de una u otra manera en las emociones que se sienten llegando incluso a modificarlas a fin de obtener las metas propuestas impidiendo situaciones de ira, provocación o miedo.
